At least 8 of us CAMBA members... On Sat, May 22nd, the 8 of us braved the elements, hiked into the swamp field at Quail Hollow State Park, spent 3 hours transporting (maybe 10+ trips) all of the heavy gear, wood, gravel, and other supplies into the swamp, leveling the ground and putting in gravel, measuring and putting in the "sleeper" logs every 3 feet, putting the 12 foot boards on top of the sleepers, nailing the boards (including pre-drills for the ends), and dragging ourselves back to the cars after a very long day. It was fun actually and I can't wait to try out the bridge myself! It's 250 feet long and covers the majority of the really horrible mud bogs.
